Taormina Opera Stars is synonymous with great events.
The festival - now in its fifth edition - is an event created by the "Aldebaran" Association of Taormina, which has become a reference point for the international opera and music movement since 2012.
Under the artistic direction of Maestro Davide Dellisanti, Taormina Opera Stars brings an opera and concert schedule designed to excite the audience, without forgetting the classic canons so dear to "melomaniacs".
The attention and care in the selection of the works, as well as in the choice of the cast, have brought Taormina Opera Stars to success: since the first edition, the show has received great appreciation from the public and critics.
In fact, a new selected cast was presented for each edition, chosen through national and international auditions.
Hundreds of artists - have trod the beautiful natural stage of the Ancient Theater of Taormina, staging the best of everything that is considered by the international talent scene.
It is also thanks to them that Taormina Opera Stars has been able to stand out with operatic titles and concerts of great scenic and musical impact
Davide Dellisanti, artistic director of Taormina Opera Stars, has over 1,500 concerts to his credit.
He is one of the most requested accompanying pianists.

Maestro Davide Dellisanti has received several career awards: Apollo Musagete, Presidential Award, Tara Pax, Giovanni Paisiello Award and Gold Medal "Maison des artist" together with Ennio Morricone ".
He is the winner of 10 first prizes in national and international competitions. He has directed various lyric choirs such as the Lyric Choir of Puglia and Basilicata, The Lyric Choir of the Sferisterio di Macerata, the direct editor of the Giuseppe Verdi Choir of Rome.
He studied piano, opera singing and conducting with the Masters Daniela Panaro, Emanuele Arciuli and Mariano Patti. He plays the piano and deepens the study of opera singing.
Immediately undertook an intense concert activity as a pianist accompanying internationally renowned opera singers such as Nicola Martinucci, Raul Gimenez, Placido Domingo, Vittorio Terranova, Paolo Coni, Robleto Merolla, Juan Pons, Carlos Chausson, Ines Salazar, Maria Dragoni, Mariella Devia, Stefania Bonfadelli, Lella Cuberli, Birghit Harnish, April Millo, Adriana Morelli, Katia Ricciarelli, Carmela Apollonio.
He decides to become conductor at the age of nine and since then he has undertaken and completed with full honors his academic training in piano and composition, as well as in orchestra with honors.
The great Russian director Yuri Ahronovitch's pupil, he writes about her "I have never met a orchestra director so young and so gifted with heart and arm".
He plays and directs in the most important theaters in the world (Carnegie Hall in New York, Teatro Coliseo in Buenos Aires, Teatro Solis in Montevideo, Seoul Art Center in Seoul, Smetana Hall in Prague, Teatro Sao Pedro in São Paulo, Teatro dell ' Rome Opera, etc.), collaborating with the most important artists on the international scene.
On March 7, 2009 she was awarded the title of Knight of the Italian Republic for her international achievements as a pianist and conductor; on December 18, 2016 he conducts the Senate Christmas Concert in Eurovision.
